Ingredients
- 1 lb protein of choice
- Corn tortillas
- 1/2 bell pepper (any color)
- 1/2 onion
- 1 garlic clove
- Diced tomatoes
- Cumin, Paprika, salt, pepper, chili powder, oregano, cilantro
- Optional toppings
Instructions
- Add ground meat to a pot with a drizzle of olive oil and cook until brown
- Next add diced onions and bell pepper and cook until onions are translucent
- Next add your spices and garlic:
- Add 1 tsp cumin
- Add 1 tsp paprika
- Add 1 tsp chili powder
- Add 1 tsp salt
- Add 1 tsp black pepper
- Add 1 tsp oregano
- Add 1 tsp cilantro
- Heat up a pan on high heat (no oil) and toast each corn tortilla for around 10 seconds on each side (when you start to see a little smoke, it’s time to flip)
- Next build your tacos!
Add additional toppings if desired
- Shredded cheese
- Avocado
- Diced tomatoes/salsa
- Shredded lettuce
- Hot sauce
