Quick and Easy Homemade Pizza

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup lukewarm water
  • 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1-2 teaspoons of salt
  • Pinch of sugar
  • 3 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1-2 cups of cheese of your choice
  • 1 jar of tomato or marinara sauce
  • Italian seasoning, basil or oregano

Instructions

Grease your baking sheet in oven and preheat to 450 degrees F

  • Mix yeast with lukewarm water in a large cup – add a tiny pinch of sugar
  • Let sit for about 5-10 min
  • In a large bowl, mix flour, olive oil, and water/yeast mixture
  • Knead until it becomes smooth (add a little more flour if needed)
  • Cover and let dough rest for 10 minutes
  • Next prepare your toppings of choice! (You can use anything! Chicken sausage, turkey bacon, or any kind of vegetable!)
  • Once your dough is ready, put a bit of flour on a flat working surface and roll the dough until it is about 1/4 inch thick

Transfer to the greased and preheated baking sheet from oven

  • You can also flatten/roll it directly on the baking sheet, but be careful not to burn yourself!
  • Add sauce, cheese, toppings, and spices and bake for 10-14 minutes until golden-brown, & cheese is melted
