Ground Turkey or Ground Beef Tacos

Ingredients

  • 1 lb protein of choice
  • Corn tortillas
  • 1/2 bell pepper (any color)
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Cumin, Paprika, salt, pepper, chili powder, oregano, cilantro
  • Optional toppings

Instructions

  •  Add ground meat to a pot with a drizzle of olive oil and cook until brown
  •  Next add diced onions and bell pepper and cook until onions are translucent
  •  Next add your spices and garlic:
  •  Add 1 tsp cumin
  •  Add 1 tsp paprika
  •  Add 1 tsp chili powder
  •  Add 1 tsp salt
  •  Add 1 tsp black pepper
  •  Add 1 tsp oregano
  •  Add 1 tsp cilantro
  •  Heat up a pan on high heat (no oil) and toast each corn tortilla for around 10 seconds on each side (when you start to see a little smoke, it’s time to flip)
  •  Next build your tacos!

Add additional toppings if desired

  • Shredded cheese
  • Avocado
  • Diced tomatoes/salsa
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Hot sauce
