Makes 3 sandwiches
Ingredients
- 6 slices sourdough bread
- 2 organic chicken sausage links (I used trader joe’s brand)
- 9 slices organic cheddar cheese
- 3 tbsp softened organic grass fed butter
- ½ tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet
- Slice your bread and spread with ½ tbsp butter each
- Slice your chicken sausages thinly and begin to assemble sandwich
- Apply buttered bread with 3 slices cheese and 1 chicken sausage per sandwich (thinly sliced)
- Place sandwich into skillet and flip after approx. 3-4 minutes (be careful not to burn the bread but it should be slightly golden brown)
- Remove from skillet when crispy and repeat with assembling next sandwich
