Banana Berry Protein Smoothie

Ingredients

  • ½ banana
  • Handful of frozen berries (blueberries or raspberries work well)
  • 1 handful of organic spinach
  • ½ cup almond milk
  • ½ cup water
  • A few ice cubes
  • Dash of turmeric
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp peanut or almond butter
  • 1 scoop of protein powder (I use Nuzest chocolate brand) (If you aren’t a fan of protein powder I recommend adding some dairy or dairy free yogurt to add a little bit of a thicker texture)

Instructions

  • Blend all ingredients together and add toppings!
  • Topping suggestions: handful of granola, cereal, or nuts
  • You can also add any nutritional seeds such as hemp, chia, or flax seeds for added fiber
