Ingredients
- ½ banana
- Handful of frozen berries (blueberries or raspberries work well)
- 1 handful of organic spinach
- ½ cup almond milk
- ½ cup water
- A few ice cubes
- Dash of turmeric
- Dash of cinnamon
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp peanut or almond butter
- 1 scoop of protein powder (I use Nuzest chocolate brand) (If you aren’t a fan of protein powder I recommend adding some dairy or dairy free yogurt to add a little bit of a thicker texture)
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients together and add toppings!
- Topping suggestions: handful of granola, cereal, or nuts
- You can also add any nutritional seeds such as hemp, chia, or flax seeds for added fiber
